Sandra Vlasta, Dr. (2008, University of Vienna), is a Senior Assistant Professor (Ricercatrice) at the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Genoa/Italy. From October 2017 to March 2020 she was a a Marie-Skłodowska-Curie-Fellow at the Department of General and Comparative Literature at the Gutenberg Institute for World Literature and Written Media at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where she continued her research until April 2021. She is the author of Contemporary Migration Literature in German and English (Brill/Rodopi, 2016) and has published on multilingualism and travel writing.
