European Travel Writing in Context

 

 

European Travel Writing in Context (EUTWIC) was a research project fully funded by the European Union as part of the Marie-Sklodowska-Curie programme (Individual Fellowship, Grant Agreement No. 751378). The project was hosted by the Department of General and Comparative Literature at the Gutenberg Institute for World Literature and Written Media at the Johannes Gutenberg University. It was supervised by Prof. Dr. Winfried Eckel. A secondment was spent at the Centre for Travel Writing Studies (CTWS) at Nottingham Trent University, supervised by Prof. Dr. Tim Youngs.

The project coordinator and key researcher was Sandra Vlasta.

Project duration: from October 1, 2017 to March 31, 2020.
